SWAMP WATER

Starburst 36 × Toad Venom
[(Pre-98 Bubba Kush × Fire OG) × ’97 KC36] × Toad Venom
Feminized Seeds

Born to hit the water. Excellent stand-alone flower as well!

SWAMP WATER pairs our Starburst 36 mother with reversed Toad Venom pollen in a resin-forward cross built for the solventless hunter — without sacrificing the flower.

Both sides bring documented resin credentials, but these genetics are equally at home dried, cured and smoked straight from the jar. Expect a hunt centered around heavy resin, loud flavor and genuinely enjoyable stand-alone flower, whether it ever sees the wash bag or not.

We brought the two together with one goal in mind:

Resin. Flavor. Water.

🧊 ICE WATER • 💧 RESIN • 🍬 TROPICAL CANDY • ⛽ GAS • 🌿 OLD-SCHOOL FUNK

BORN TO HIT THE WATER

Starburst 36 is deeply tied to modern solventless culture. Five separate SB36 phenotypes were processed as ice-water-hash rosin and analyzed in published ACS Omega aroma research.

The cultivar has backed that reputation up in competition as well: Starburst 36 took 1st Place Connoisseur’s Choice at Ego Clash 2022, while an Entourage × KnowNot Farms Starburst 36 took 1st Place Solventless at the 2024 Oregon Growers Cup.

Its reputation is built around heavy resin and a complex profile of tropical fruit, citrus, sweetness and candy.

Toad Venom brings its own documented resin history. The cultivar has been released as cold-cure live rosin by Nature’s Lab and as both flower and solventless rosin in premium hash-hole production.

Two resin-heavy pedigrees. One swamp.

NOT JUST FOR THE WASH

SWAMP WATER may have been bred with water in mind, but this is not a processor-only cross.

Toad Venom has already proven itself as highly regarded stand-alone flower, earning Leafly Budtenders’ Choice 2024 — Best Strain in Oregon. Its combination of mint, dough, fruit, gas and funk makes it just as compelling in the jar as it is in concentrate form.

Combined with Starburst 36’s tropical candy profile, SWAMP WATER is intended to give hunters something worth keeping whether the winner goes into a wash vessel or a flower jar.

OLD BLOOD UNDER THE WATER

Starburst 36 comes from:

Starburst OG × ’97 KC36

Expand the Starburst OG side and the pedigree becomes:

(Pre-98 Bubba Kush × Fire OG) × ’97 KC36

That puts two unmistakable pieces of old-school American cannabis history — Pre-98 Bubba Kush and Fire OG — underneath a cultivar now celebrated for modern candy flavor and solventless resin.

THE ’97 KC36 MYSTERY

The other side of Starburst 36 reaches into the old Dutch seed era through ’97 KC36, a preserved selection connected to K.C. Brains Holland.

The exact KC36 parentage has remained guarded, but historical lineage accounts have reported:

Spanish Indica × KC606

That reported history leads into one of the more interesting mysteries in old-school cannabis breeding.

What exactly was KC606?

KC606 appears throughout early K.C. Brains breeding work and was associated with earlier-flowering breeding stock. Old grower discussions have also speculated that KC606 may have represented some form of early-flowering Skunk-type selection.

That Skunk connection has never been definitively established, so we treat it as cannabis history and breeder lore rather than confirmed pedigree.

But that’s part of what makes SWAMP WATER special: beneath the modern tropical candy and resin sits a genetic trail reaching back through ’97 KC36, reported Spanish Indica ancestry and the mysterious KC606.

BUBBA. FIRE. CANDY. RESIN.

On the other side of that mystery sits a much clearer lineage:

Starburst OG = Pre-98 Bubba Kush × Fire OG

Bubba and Fire bring the Kush and OG foundation. Starburst 36 brings the tropical candy expression and documented solventless heritage. Toad Venom pushes the profile deeper into modern resin, gas and flavor.

The result is a cross connecting completely different eras of cannabis breeding through one common thread:

Resin worth chasing — and flower worth smoking.
